I am so sorry you have a reason to join this group but we are so glad you found us. We all remember the awful day when we received the news. I think it is a personal decision- my girl was a little out of the ordinary because she was diagnosed 2 years ago and was give 4-6 months whether we did the amputation or not so we decided to just enjoy our time with her. We changed her food (homemade, no grains etc) and she healed. At that point we were thankful we didn't amputate. Just at the end of Nov the tumor came back and we knew amputation was our only option. So we amputated and it was a great decision. 2 weeks of pain in exchange for what we hope will be years and years of happiness. We have already had 3 days of bliss and those alone are worth it. In the end, go with your heart. Statistics are just numbers. You know your baby best. We are here for you and you are in our prayers. Keep us posted!
