My heart hurts for you knowing that you've reached this difficult decision. It's the hardest one we ever make as pet parents, and the one we hope to avoid but at some point, most of us have to confront. You are being so brave, and so compassionate toward Bogart right now. Putting your own grief aside for his benefit is the kindest, most selfless act there is.
True love never dies, it just changes form. Bogart's physical body might not be around any more but his incredible loving spirit will stay stronger than ever. You will always have him by your side as an angel looking out for you. I know it won't feel that way for a while, so give yourself time to grieve, as much as you need. We get it.
Lots and lots of love and hugs to you and the one and only Papa Bogart. We are lighting a candle for your sweet boy.
