Ohhh my heart goes out to you, I'm so sorry! Thank you for letting us know, and especially thank you for allowing us to celebrate her incredible victory over that awful cancer! Two years is incredible, and for her to have such great times afterward, and live the life she enjoyed with her favorite people? Well there is no greater gift or success.
Greta's legacy lives on! We are so grateful you came back to let us know. If you'd like to write a tribute post about her in Coping with Loss we would love to share it in Tripawds News! Your girl was extra special and really amazing. What a gift to the world!
Lots and lots of love and condolences coming your way.
Just now saw this and am so vwry, very sorry your sweet Greta had to be released. Your love was strong eno ugh to give her additional quality time with amputation. Your love was strong enough to give her the gift of release when her earth body no longer served her.

i! I am
so sorry to heart about the passing of Greta.. I am here reaching out bc my 11.5 senior just got diagnosed with histiochtic sarcoma and I am at loss for words. The vet recommended chemo but at her age I really don’t want to put her through that and also it is very very expensive. There is no signs of spread as it was localized in her joint. She also had it for a while I’m assuming as Greta’s story is similar to ours. Just wanted to know if you chose any chemo following amputation?
Hi Maria,
I'm so sorry about your pup. I just saw your comment in a post and am so glad to see you posted here. Have you seen these Histiocytic Sarcoma survivor stories?
Oh I see you started a new topic here! Going over there now.
