Our family has just adopted a 4 year old rough coat collie tripawd. She is missing her front left leg. I think the Ruffwear harness would be very helpful to her but I wonder if it will fit over her very thick and long coat?

Ooooh, I love Ruff Collies! You are a sweetheart for adopting her, thank you for giving a Tripawd a chance at a happy life and forever home.
We've never had any complaints about the harness fitting improperly on dogs with long coats. My Mamma says that she can't think of any long haired Tripawd dogs to show you pics of, with the harness on, but if she remembers who's got the long fur, she'll post them here.
The only thing the harness may do is the straps may create an indentation in her beautiful fur.
The harness is incredibly helpful, we think you'll love it! If you do order it, let us know so we can spread the word about how it works with long coats OK?
