Perhaps most of you already know about Popeye and have heard his story or seen his videos or even met him. I didn't know anything about this tyke until I saw him mentioned in Jerry's blog. So I headed over to Popeye's home page (amazing the really good ways one can find to procrastinate from 'real work'). Now that an hour or two have gone by and the tears are starting to dry, I have to tell you to check out Popeye's page and his Adoption Ad if you haven't seen it before now. Seeing the story unfold from the time he arrived at the shelter as a eager sweet young pup with a paralyzed back end until he recently got his wheels. Seeing his upbeat and playful personality. Seeing how fast he now moves across the dog park chasing and wrestling with other dogs. Seeing how well he gets along with the other dogs in his foster family. Whoosh. There will not be a dry eye in the tripawd house.
