Hi everyone,
Just a quick update with some pictures (I hope). Tabitha is doing well 10 weeks out. She's off all pain meds and has definitely adjusted to tripod life. She's her usual loveable, quirky self, and while she will still look lovingly at the couch, adores the bed (recommended by Griffin and Stacy - thanks!). We're also doing better in the car now that we have a car "hammock" (thanks for that recommend Jerry!). It's also much easier for my husband to help her in and out of the car with the Ruffwear web master plus (brush guard was key for Tabitha). I still can't get her in and out - she's too heavy and I'm afraid I'll drop her, so next step is car steps or a ramp :-). She's gone to her favorite park and would love to walk and walk, but we have been cutting her off so she doesn't over tax herself. She is ALWAYS so happy to be there. Pics below (I hope) are of her in the driveway, on her favorite bed (covered so it's hard to see the lovely plush underneath but Tab has spay incontinence since we had her, which means she sometimes "leaks" a little), and laying on one of our new non-slip mats in the kitchen.
