I am currently looking to enroll Ariel in training to become a therapy dog, so we will be visiting hospitals etc which have slick floors. She currently walks fine in her wheelchair when we go to care-a-lot and bass pro, she just walks very slow and cautiously. I am looking around and trying to find a good set of dog shoes or traction socks that are light and stay on the feet. I was curious if anyone has suggestions for a good brand and help getting their dog use to wearing them.
Ruffwear makes some really good sneakers but they work best if your dog does not have dew claws.

I prefer to wear mine with socks.
Many of us also wear pawz. Scout Rockwell (on Facebook), introduced me to them. He calls them balloon boots and I do too.
How cool she's gonna be a therapy dog!
You'll find a rundown on boots in the Tripawds Gear blog.
We suggest starting a dog in the Pawz boots to see if they will even tolerate wearing something on their feet. These tips help make the break-in period easier.
Let us know which ones you decide to try.
