A few days ago, our vet told me about a dog that was a patient at the vet school back when he was a student. This dog had lost a front leg to a non-union fracture and, years later, a rear limb to osteosarcoma. Apparently, he hopped around quite fine with only those two legs, and just leaned against sturdy upright objects when he needed to rest!
It truly is amazing how well animals can manage if given the chance.
So true, thanks for reminding everyone what strong, resilient troopers all dogs are.
