I hope this is the right subsection for my question. We are looking for an extra harness and would like to have one he cannot escape from (New Years firework is coming...). So we decided it would be the Ruffwear webmaster based on reviews here and from some people we know. However, there is no shop close by that have Ruffwear stuff...the only option seems to be online. As you might have seen in the pictures Skippie is quite thin (a bit greyhound like), so I measure 64 cm around his chest which would be a S-size. However, he is not that small, so i have these feeling a S might be too small. So I am looking for experiences :).
Yep the Webmaster is indeed the harness for Houdini dawgs.
Harnesses are measured by girth size. A 64 cm (24.4") girth = a Small in a Webmaster with room to spare.
Here's a Webmaster International Store Finder, hopefully you can get your hands on one by New Year's.

Thanks Jerry. So you don't think S will be to small for a 17 kg dog? I thought maybe S will not be long enough (on her back) due to her relative small girth size (skiny dog).
BTW, I found several online shops here that have them. Of course I can return if the size is not ok, but it will take more time and hassle....
Sometimes dogs will not be able to wear the Ruffwear Webmaster but rarely. It should be fine on her.

Murphy weighs about 26 kg and wears a medium ruffwear harness if that helps.

The harness in size S just arrived and it seems to be the right size :). I'll post a picture if he has it on. Any handy tips about getting it on a front leg tripawd? I watched several video's (also the one with Jerry :)), but put the head through first and then the front leg is a bit difficult with a front leg tripawd. Probably we have to train Skippie to sit still.....
Yay glad it fits! That makes us and Jerry hoppy!
Yes, at first sitting is the best way as we did in the video. In time Jerry learned to hop his front leg into the harness leg loop when it was laid flat on the floor. Other times I would just gently lift him an inch to put his leg into the harness when it was flat on the floor. We would then pick it up and slide it over his head. Can you picture it?

THAT'S A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE!!! Of course, with Skippie as the subject, how could it be anything but perfectly beautiful!! I lpve how the coloring of his "beach" just accentuates his handsomeness!
Thanks!
