We just got our Ruffwear Webmaster . It fits his chest well but the back buckle is very loose (tightened as much as it can). Is this okay? Just checking before we cut the tags off.

You probably will want it to be a bit more snug so that you can use the handle to lift with.

Please send us a photo or post here so we can get an idea of the fit.

Thanks! I cannot figure out how to do pictures (even reading the instructions--and I'm usually reasonably techie). But we accidentally needed the harness today and I think we need a smaller one for rear end support.

My 5 year old let him downstairs to the basement to find me while I was doing laundry. He came down fine, but I didn't want to make him try all those steps back up. We used the harness, and I'm pretty sure it's too big.

I purchased it through Tripawds. I haven't started figuring out how to exchange. Any tips?

Wow that's awesome. What did you do to make it fit properly? This would be helpful to know so we can pass along the tip. Thanks!

We were able to tighten the back strap with some more finagling. The chest fit well from the start. He got to sleep upstairs with us last night! (Using the harness to help him upstairs.) He was happy to be in his space!

Wheeeeee! I'm so hoppy to hear that. Yep, the harness is definitely good for helping our Tripawds go back up to their normal sleeping spots. Glad to hear you're all back in your 'new normal.'
