Happy Thanksgiving! And more importantly to a certain noisy Sheltie - happy ELEVENTH birthday to Rucca!!!
At sixteen weeks post surgery tomorrow, we get better and better every day! We had a lot the be thankful for this year and we enjoyed the sun, a little bit of frisbee, and some special Thanksgiving birthday crab cakes! Even managed to get some video of the hijinks, complete with a bit of barking. We won’t let her play like she used to but she’s very unhappy if she doesn’t get a few small catches in every day. And she pretty much refuses to walk without taking along her frisbee. I didn’t expect a return to puppyhood but we seem to have one anyway. 😀

And she does look like a puppy in her poctures! She is soooo cute with that frisbee! Yeah, she can still chase it, just needs to be thrown closer to the ground so she doesn't jump too high and land to jard on those joints of hers.
And a HAPPY BIRTHDAY and SIXTEEN WEEK AMPUVERSARY!! And crab cakes to celebrate! WOW!! Clearly you get YOUNGER with age!!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
OMD...Jist realized I missed that DEEEELIGHTFUL video of Rucca playing fetch! She is soooo ADORAVLE and soooo happy! She's smiling, I'm smiling, everybody's 'smiling seeing Rucca so hapoy!!😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Hoppy birthday rockin' Rucca! Glad to see that life is good and the recovery is behind you. It's so cool to see all your energy and enthusiasm is back and better than ever. You are unstoppable!
Love the video, she is so much fun to watch. Just want to say that we know it's hard to slow down a high energy dog like Rucca and sometimes you've just gotta get in. But to keep that front wrist joint from wearing out, it would be good to work with a k9 rehab therapist who can recommend a good support brace for her.
