Hi there,

Just dropping in to recommend the Photizo Vetcare device for delivering high quality red light therapy for cats and dogs at home. Ruby’s physio recommended this for home treatment to get on top of any little niggles, muscle strains etc in between professional appointments. It’s not as powerful as cold laser therapy, which obviously needs to be delivered by a professional but it is MUCH more powerful than the standard red light therapy devices you can buy on Amazon etc. I had one of those for Meg and I’m not sure it did very much at all, but Ruby very obviously responds to the Photizo and thoroughly enjoys her sessions.  I have used it on a couple of slight muscle strains in her back, a small wound, and also on a rash on her tummy. Also, unlike with cold laser treatment, you can treat repeatedly and don’t have to worry about overdosing etc (this on the advice of Ruby’s physio). At around £300/$400 it’s an investment - though we managed to get our one secondhand - but for anyone with a lively young Tripawd, who is liable to get themselves into scrapes 🙄 I certainly feel it’s worth considering.

That's good to know Clare, thank you. I've never heard of it. So do you think it speeds up the wound healing? That's what I've heard about laser therapy in general.
