Hi all,

After reading Loving Life on 3 Legs , I'm looking into rehabilitation possibilities for my new tripawd, Ben Franklin. Ideally I'd like to take him for a few sessions so I can learn better how to do the exercises at home (so I'm not unintentionally hurting him!).

Questions for anyone who has investigated or has experience with this:

1) Does pet insurance make sense for this?

2) if so, any recos/watchouts when looking at carriers?

Thanks!

Nicole

Oh I'm so hoppy you read the book (thanks!) and want to pursue rehab therapy. Don't forget the Tripawds Foundation will pay for that first consult. See: http://tripawds.....bursement/

Sure it makes sense! Rehab is wonderful and it can make a huge difference in a Tripawd's life. As far as I'm aware, some pet insurance companies will pay for ongoing rehab but you have to make extra sure it's included in the policy you get. Usually it's available when adding a special rider to the policy. For current pet insurance companies here are some links you'll find helpful:

You're a pawesome pet parent for considering it!
