Thanks for the update! Check out the PetLoader Car Steps, a handy alternative to bulky ramps, and the Otto Step, designed specifically for SUVs. The Ruff Wear Webmaster is our most popular all purpose harness.
No resignation necessary, just an adaptation to the new "normal".

If you are looking to buy the Pet Loader steps, Sophie's mom has a brand new one that she'll make a great offer on. Plus, she just lost her job and could use the money instead.
"They are in the original packaging in the garage – I keep meaning to send them back – but have procrastinated so long that I'm just plain embarrassed to do so now. (It's a long story.) They ARE a good product – VERY sturdy (especially those 18 inch ones – which, of course, I bought too )"
I'll send her a private message so she can contact you.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Thanks everyone! I was able to get a ramp on clearence today at Petco, but I have a feeling he'll be terrified of it so I don't know if it'll get much use. If he refuses to use it I'll return it and look into the loader steps. They also look like they'd be a lot easier to store than this giant ramp.
Unfortunately Oscar had a bad morning and was listless and vomiting. I called back this afernoon and they said he was doing much better and as long as he doens't regress he should be able to come home tomorrow!
