okay.  Deep breath.  you are awesome for wanting to adopt a tripaw - thank you!  Kennel Cough is not a big deal and usually easily cured.  Do you have a vet?  If not, do you have a good recommendation for a vet?  Get that and ask them to help you find out what the history is with this dog.  Most good vets would be happy to help someone who is wanting to adopt a rescue -especially a tripaw.  Honestly, I think all rescues have a sketchy history - none of us REALLY knows what the story is.  Honestly.  We have faith. Obviously there is a lack of faith going on here - but someone took the time to amputate the leg vice euthanizing - right?  Don't give up!
