Hi everyone I have a few questions just the start of many ,

Cassie had her front left leg removed 3 days ago now and I am at the process of buying her some equipment, I have ordered her some non slip socks and I have bought her a new bed its the mattress type, and placed non slip matts around down stairs,

When I first got cassie she had the start of rickets as a puppy, we sorted her legs out with the right food and care until they were lovely and straight then last week she broke her left front leg and had to have it amputated, I am thinking of buying a support for her front leg as im not sure how strong it will be in the long run but at the moment she is coping on it, have you bought supports for your dogs legs and can you recommend a good one, I think we only need light weight one and have been looking at Back On Track Dog Leg Wrap £19,

Also how far should I be walking her now ? we are only going into the yard and across the road on to the grass but she looks like she could go a bit more.

We were told by our surgeon that Maggie was only allowed to walk for potty breaks and meals for two weeks after surgery.  They need rest to allow the incision and internal stuff to heal properly.  It was easy for me as Mag was quite a slug for weeks after her surgery.

I don't have any experience with braces.
