We had a custom made DogLeggs for Atlas to protect his elbow. Thanks Karen and Tripawds for the helpful info on hygromas. Thought we should share with the community. Unfortunately, our first go round is not working for Atlas because of his wobblers, the vet says NO pressure on neck/spine. But the great folks at DogLeggs are working with us for alternatives. They are going to sew the leg pad portion of this to a torso body sox since he wears that so well. We will share photos of that too when done.
The beige shirt is their "torso body sox" which I love so much I'm getting one for Sophie. It protects their little naked bodies but breathes and stretches to fit them so good.
The black is the "DogLeggs for amputee" - we thought Atlas looked cool like he had on a leather jacket. way-cool although for our climate in Georgia, its a bit hot.

I just can't even begin to explain my love for this dog's face.

I would just grab it and kiss it all day long.

I envision a great playdate one day for Atlas and Jill.  Does Atlas like NYC?

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Atlas is so handsome!

Let us know what DogLeggs comes up with, we're really curious to see the final product.

OK, if you go with the 'leather jacket' look you need to add some shades or Doggles, and maybe accessorize with some chain or spikie things!

The black on does look like it could get HOT.

I think I'm supposed to comment on his DogLeggs, but I want to say: he's perfect!  What a stunner!  WOW!  I think he's pretty cool, calm, and relaxed for a biker dog...

~ Katy

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12.  Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ!  No side effects.  We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments.  He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors!  Our love. Our funny little guy!
