Hello, my name is Chris and my wife's name is Jan.  I thought that I would share our story in regards to our doggie Zephyr.  Zephyr is a Golden Retriever and she loves life.  She's such an upbeat dog.  Zephyr is three years old and was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma last month.  This is such an awful disease and I often wonder why these freak things happen....  Anyways, Zeph had surgery on Feb. 3rd of this month.  She had her back left leg amputated because the osteosarcoma had spread from her leg to the lower hip.   The surgery went very well! My wife Jan and I immediately started researching websites (including this one!) for different diets for hours and hours for many days.  After lots of discussion, we decided on a diet plan for Zephyr.  Since we have switched her over to this amazing diet she is back to normal.  One week ago she was tested for lung mets and her lungs were clear.  She is running around and you would have never known that she is a cancer dog.  I wanted to share our diet so hopefully it might help others in the future.  I wish I would have known about these dog diets from the beginning....oh well...hindsight is 20/20.  Anyways, here goes:

Morning Diet

-Main Course: 1 organic meat (either chicken/ground beef/turkey/raw salmon or grilled) mixed in the bowl, with cooked carrots and broccoli, also we mix in Natural Seaweed Calcium from Animal Essentials.  

-The Budwig Diet, 1/2 a cup of organic low fat cottage cheese mixed with half a tablespoon of flaxseed oil.

-Mix organic yogurt, sweet potatoes, nuts (almonds, cashews, and walnuts), and pet cod liver oil together.  

- 1 500 mg capsule of Astragalus 

-1 vitamin C-1000 with rose hips 

--1 vile of San She dan Chun bei (to keep the lung mets from occurring) We read about this on the website named A Path With Paws by Lena McCullough.  I don't know her, but I thank God for her and the website.  She really seems to have an understanding of K9 cancer.

Evening Diet

-Main Course: 1 organic meat (either chicken/ground beef/turkey/raw salmon or grilled) mixed in the bowl, with cooked carrots and broccoli, also we mix in Natural Seaweed Calcium from Animal Essentials. 

-The Budwig Diet, 1/2 a cup of organic low fat cottage cheese mixed with half a tablespoon of flaxseed oil.

-Mix organic yogurt, sweet potatoes, nuts (almonds, cashews, and walnuts), and pet cod liver oil together. 

After dinner

- 1 500 mg capsule of Astragalus 

-1 vitamin C-1000 with rose hips 

--1 vile of San She dan Chun bei 

-1 capsule of Reishi mushrooms standardized from Nature's way

-1 capsule of milk thistle 175 mg

-1 capsule of Super Lysine +

-1 capsule of Artiminisine 100 mg

Last, but not least: Essiac tea...1/4 teaspoon of the 4-herb Concentrate (6 times stronger than normal essiac tea) mixed with water.
