I've had 3 shepherds and all of them have eaten their poop. In the past I've tried the usual.. tobacco sauce. forbid etc.. I noticed a product was advertised on this site?? any thoughts? * the way my yard is set up.. it is difficult to pick up after each poop... My dogs ate what I thought were good quality foods. current dog eats Instinct raw boost grain free ..
Gasp 🤢
I don’t have any suggestions, I’m afraid but maybe post in “ask a vet”...
Hugs and cuddles 😘😘🐮💫✨🌟🌹

Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)
Hmm. Wow we've never had that issue ("coprophagy") but I know others have dealt with it so hopefully they will chime in soon. Dogs eat poop for all sorts of reasons, and it could indicate a deficiency of some sort. Have you talked to your vet about it?
Here's an old forum post about that very subject, with some good tips:

I'm not sure which one you are referring to but it sounds like you might have seen a Google ad. We don't pick which products go in those. Sorry.

the google ad looked good and I thought I'd read it later since it was endorsed here...
For the record, Tripawds does neither endorse, nor have any control over which ads Google presents to users of this website.
