For Chico, I took a turkey breast and roasted it and shredded it.  I added about 3 pounds of cooked and mashed sweet potatoes to the turkey.  Mixed all together and added it as a topping to his regular kibble.  He loved it, but then I've never had an issue with him not wanting to eat!
