I ordered the power mushrooms from aloha organics, and I did talk to the vet, who said he has read about the effectiveness of mushrooms in conjunction with chemo. I am wondering if anyone has any ill side effects? I have read that they should help with the effects of chemo, but Im afraid to add something more to his regimine to further cause issues with his eating as they are slightly back on track and I dont want to go backwards. Thoughts?

Not using the "Power Mushrooms per se, bit am using Apocaps and K-9 Immunity Plus. As you already know, NOTHING is expensive when it comes to large dogs, so you may get the same benefit--or better---through other mushroom products. The articles above are great and others will chime in. But yes, I for n', am a fan!

Because Tazzie was so large I used the human product Power Mushrooms. I ordered them from a website called Acupuncture Atlanta and I think a bottle of 270 was about $37.00. Tazzie weighed about 185 pounds post-amp and she got 3 tabs twice daily. The main side effect is diarrhea so start slow!
