hi all!
has anyone tried supplementing both on their doggies? my doggie is diagnosed to have adenocarcinoma, it started on her vagina and we immediately had her tumor removed by surgery. after, we had doggie started on chemo twice in two weeks. now i am supplementing her with artemisinin for less than a week already. we give her 1 capsule 50mg very early in the morning with cottage cheese and one capsule also at night before bed. some suggest artemisinin should not to be given with immune supplements. i chose to follow 7days on and 7days off pulsing. what if i'd like to give transfer factor 2x a day together with the arte? would it be okay? would any of you know the effectiveness of both supplements if given altogether?
ps. i'd also like to give fish oil, would any of you suggest on a schedule? thanks!
Honestly I can't answer that, but if I were you I would contact K9 Immunity, who make a Transfer Factor, and ask them. Also, Holley Pharmaceuticals might have a good answer. If you do find out, please let us know.
As for fish oil, Dr. Kelly uses a high quality one in her Metronomic Protocol, which you can read about here.
I took fish oil as part of my daily nutrition regimen, it worked well for me. If my poo got runny though, I got less of it.
Hope this helps.

I don't know the answer either but in Dr. Dressler's book he stated that Artemisinin was primarily good for OSA cancer. My dog has soft tissue sarcoma so I don't use it. However, I do use Transfer Factors, fish oil, mushrooms and homeopathics daily on her.

to everyone, please post experiences using both supplements. thanks!
Perfect, thank you so much for sharing this important info! We'll file this away in our brains, I'm sure someone will ask about it again.

Not up to speed on the transfer factors other then it is part of the k9 Immunity Plus formula that I am now using. The more I read on OSC (which is what Alexei has) the more I understand that Artemisinin is the only drug that kills OSC cells and that is only documented in a laboratory petridish, hardly a body. It also appears to me that the bio-machanics of the drug are also inhibited by many of the same things that are good. The anti-oxidents from the good diet and K9 Immunity will attack the free radicals in the drug. And the high iron of the raw meat diet will attract the free radicals of the drug as it seeks out iron rich cells (OSC cells). So my plan will be to minimize the detrimental effects of the good substances on the Artemisinin much like the concept that limits immune enhancing supplements during chemo treatments. The studies I have viewed are all over the place in terms of doses and implementation. I have started Alex on 200 mg with Butyrate to assimilate the drug. Week two I will increase to 300 mg and cycle off week three and then start the stack over. Let me know what you are doing?
