I'm going to catch up on blogs this weekend and will be sure to read yours. Even though it wasn't easy for you to come here and share this sad news we are glad you did. Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

I am so so sorry that your sweet Valentine is gone. I know it is devastating right now. Let yourself grieve and find whatever way to honor Valentine's life that suits you. I found great solace in making several memorials when my last dog passed.

I am also heartbroken to read this. Everyone here knows how much you loved Valentine, as did we all! She clearly could not have been more adored or more loved. And when the time came for release, you loved her enough to help her transition to the next face of her Soul's life.
I'm glad you gave the link to her vlog here. I have to admit, I put off reading it when I saw the blog title come the other day. I k ew it was no sense in trying to type through the tears. Maybe I can hold myself together a little better now as I want very much to hinor this ADORABLE sweet Valentine...And support you in anyway I can.
We will forever be touched by her and your love for her....and she for you. Please know that.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
