Oh Mica. We all knew this day was coming. It comes too quickly. Why does it have to? Oh boy. This is tough. I'm so sorry. No one should get cancer, let alone two! It's just not fair. Not fair. I wish you strength tomorrow and that I hope you find get a lot of peace, knowing that Roxy will not be tired, achy, sore, in pain, or hungry ever again. Soon, she'll know nothing but bliss. HUGS to you and the pack tonight and tomorrow.

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
I am so sorry you are going through this. Roxy is so loved, and we are thinking about you at this difficult time.

I am so sorry, Mica. I know your heart is wounded and empty. I wish you peace in the coming days.
The pictures on FB are wonderful, Mica, but they also show a dog who looked more and more tired and ready to go over the last couple of weeks. I do believe it's easier when it's that way. Even on us, believe it or not. Roxy is beautiful and will always be so. She doesn't have to be worn out any longer. She did her job well and now gets a well-earned rest.

You were in my thoughts all day. I ached at 2pm and certainly at 3pm. Wheeeeew. She's in a better place. No pain. No hunger. No aches. No feeling sick. She's whole and healthy. You did right by her. You loved her up 1000% and gave her the life any dog wishes.

Mica, please accept my condolences, I am so very sorry. She fought hard and bravely, and will always be remembered for the valiant way she lived life to the fullest even when things got bad. You are also to be commended for all that you did for her right up to the very end.
It's beautiful to imagine the Tripawd Angels welcoming beautiful Roxy into their pack with open hearts and paws. May she run free with all of them and light the way for all of us.

Mica, I missed this while we were gone. I am so, so sorry. She was a brave and beautiful girl. You joined not long after we did, and Roxy was close in age to Sam...so somehow I was extra-specially fond of her <3
