Samson's close up "portrait pictures"are always Noble, and gentle and Mighty all at the same time.
I don't think any dog has ever enjoyed his toys like Samson.
Spoiling a dog is a pleasurable for us hoomans as it is for the dogs
Athena is so beautiful. I love the bone structure of her face. . Her name fits her perfectly.
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

I figured since Samson's original owners never let him be a puppy and he had 1 toy only and they never let him roam the house to play or play with his 1 toy . Then I was gonna let him go crazy and enough life and have all the toys he could ever need ... Talk about letting a wild child out out the box !!! He would grab his rope toy with the ball on the end ( both the rope ball and the rubber ball end) and swing them around clunking himself and everything ? everyone around him while at the same time jumping and bucking like a wild horse !!! I so wish I recorded those times

Aww what beautiful playtime memories!
Many years ago when we were filming with PBS for the Nature episode that featured our Jerry, he did something really adorable. I said in front of the director, "Dang I wish I had caught that on camera!" You know what she said to me?
"You did, you got it with this camera," which she said while pointing to my brain. It made so much sense, and I've never forgotten it. Media can get lost or erased or destroyed, but our memories remain forever.

OOhh he could slobber for sure , sometimes long 6-8" streams of drool !! 
Once he smelled it he went nuts barking and growling at the jar until I put the lid back on it. I post a pic of him barking at it , but its not very clear as he was a fast booger.

Pardon the mess, but Samson decided trash a stuffed bunny and then did a whirlwind of destruction by playing with anything in sight and making a HUGE mess..And then deciding to just take a nap afterwards, just so proud of himself . Of course he has a pair of my sock and boots as well.

Hahaha...Samson is quite proud of his shredded bunny😂 Andit definitely makes a nice soft layer to nap on after some frenzied fun!
And yes, I can almost hear him telling you to hurry up and gice him his treat! That com through loud and clear...even in a still photo!
You have so many glorious memories of sweet Samson. I know his earth lofe was way too short, but he cert6 gave you a lifetime of Happy memories. And you have a wonderfully vivid recollection of all his specialness that makes him Samson❤
And there is no such thing as "mess" when it comes to strewn debris all over the floor from a dog having a hapoy time! I call it my "dog decor" in my home😊
