Shelly,
I am sorry sorry to be reading this, this morning......I have not been able to be on the forums too much lately, but my heart absolutely broke when I saw this .....
Please know you did everything possible for your sweet girl, Mabey, and she knew how much you loved her. My own precious angel girl Polly passed away pretty much the same way Mabey did, I do know how hard it is for you.
I know the sorrow and grieving will seem to last forever, my Polly will be gone a year next month, and not a day goes by that I still do not think of her and even shed a tear or two thinking how much I still miss her. But in the long term, we learn to live with the new normal, and the excruciating pain will subside to bittersweet memories that remain with you, and eventually, a bit more of happier memories will remain within your heart always.
Wishing you peace within your heart, and comforting {{{hugs}}} to ease your heartache....,
Love,
Bonnie & Angel Polly
Thank you all so much for your support. I hate that we all have had these experiences but being here to support and comfort each other is so important. All your kindness has already started to ease the pain. I took Winnie to the barn last night and let her play like Mabey used to--- of course she was on a leash since at 6 months old I'm not quite ready to trust her off leash yet I know each day it will get a little bit easier and the void will be filled with the memories and making new ones.
Shelly,
I don't have much to add, others have already said what I would have. I am so sorry Mabey had to leave so soon and that you are hurting right now. I just wanted to let you know that we are sending you much peace and love from the Oaktown Pack. <3 <3 <3
