At 10:10 a.m. We released our boy and running he went to Rainbow Bridge. Our vet made a house call.  After having fought so long with such a quiet, resilient, unwaivering spirit, he went so peacefully. It was the right time.we each had heart to hearts with him, and we both told him that it was okay to let go.  We also told him that should he decide to not go naturally, that a full on country breakfast would await him in the morning.  I should have know based on his long lasting love affair with food that he would opt for option 2.  So, this morning...a big country breakfast it was. Bruno downed eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a biscuit. words cannot possibly express how much I miss him already but I know he is in a better place and that we will meet again. Thank you all for your kind words and support. And thank you to Countryview Vet Clinic for allowing him to go with grace and dignity.  We love you Bruno.

What a brave boy Bruno was!  I can imagine that he is now teaching a lot of Tripawds how to twirl!

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I know it is hard for you now, but I also know that you know you did the right thing for your boy.  Sending consoling thoughts to you.

Ah, he was a lucky dog, wasn't he?  He knew love, for sure.  What a great breakfast to send him on his way!

So sorry he had to leave you, but good to hear he went in his own home surrounded by love.

Maricela and Jeremy,

Please accept my deepest condolences, I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. He had an amazing life, and a beautiful farewell. You really helped him through to his next assignment with dignity and love.

Bruno beat the odds like the warrior that he was. His strong, stoic, playful personality will always be remembered here. Thank you so much for sharing his life with us. We are thinking of you and sending our love.

I am sorry for your loss.  I am glad that Bruno left peacefully and with a full belly and I hope you know that he will always be remembered.  Many hugs, prayers and thoughts coming your way in the coming days.

Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11.  A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...

I am so sorry for your loss.  What courage you had to say your final goodbyes.  I am tearing up just thinking about that day for us and hope it is not in our near future.  May you take comfort in knowing that you were 100% there for Bruno and that he loved you all.  My thoughts and prayers are will you.

Our Super Dog Hunter crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on a beautiful summer day in July, just 3 days shy of his 10th Birthday. He gave us everything since he was 8 weeks old.  Hunter was a 14 month warrior of OS.  We LOVE and MISS him every day.
