Hi Kami,
That is a very beautiful drawing that Chloe's mom did! It does portray MacKenzie perfectly! It is nice to hear from you and at the same time, I can totally understand how hard it has been on you since loosing Mackenzie.
Many hugs, my friend and Happy Birthday Angel Mackenzie!

Maggie was amputated for soft tissue sarcoma 10-20-09
Maggie lost her battle with kidney disease on 8-24-13
I bet doggie tripawd heaven is filled with celebration today in honor of Miss Mack, aka Pretty Pants. We love that video of Mackenzie - just hoppin' and smilin'. The drawing is just beautiful - Nicole did a great job at capturing Mackenzie's golden smile and spirit.
Sending you peaceful and joyful thoughts today, as you remember one special girl.

Sweet Mackenzie, Hoppy Birthday! It's a pawty in Tripawd heaven!
Kami, speaking as Jerry's Mom, I know how you feel. Those "firsts" are so very difficult, and all I can say is that it takes time to heal. Your emotions are to be expected, it's not easy to part ways with such a special soul.
Grief is different for everyone, and we all heal at our own rate. Eventually, I learned to smile instead of cry when I thought of Jerry, and now I am comforted in knowing that he had such a great life, and we did all we could for him when he needed us most. But that didn't happen overnight, not by a long shot.
Mackenzie's memory will always stay strong in your heart, and some day it won't hurt so much. Until then, we are here for you when you need somepawdy to lean on OK?

What a great video! Hoppy Belated birthday to Angel Mackenzie. Spirit Skyler is right by her side, and they are having a great time together with all the other Tripawd heroes. It's been 9 months, and we still feel the loss too. Sending you many, many golden hugs! Chloe will have some ice-cream tonight in Mackenzie's honor.

Kami,
Happy Birthday to your beautiful angel. My heart aches for you. I know Emily's birthdays have been hard for me so you have my deepest sympathies.

Thank you so so much for all of your support! It means so much to me during this difficult time and I know each of you truly understands. I feel so comforted by each and every comment and so blessed to be a part of this community. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being there for me.
Kami, Angel Mackenzie and Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
