Thanks everyone, Don't feel bad for us. We spent 9 years 8 months 1 day with a wonderful and faithful companion. She was and still is an amazing dog that left me with some of our happiness memories. I thank god for the time we got to share.
Dasha in Greek means " a gift from god" and she truly was a gift. Yes we are hurt, crushed, broken etc. but I would go thru this all over to have the time we had with her. When we get the ashes back I will feel more at peace knowing she is here with us but she only left in body. She may be gone but as long as we remember she will live in all of us who's heart she touched.
