I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Boomie. Yes having almost three years after amputation is great but we are never given enough time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.
My heart is heavy today knowing that Boomie has left us. I am so sorry.
For anyone new here, here's Boomie's Story: he fought osteosaroma for almost three years! His Dogster page has more info about his amazing journey.
Cindy, we are deeply sorry. You gave him such a great life! Please take heart in knowing that Boomie will always be an inspawration to us, his spirit will live on here forever.
And that smile will always shine brightly too!

Cindy and Boomie
Boomie's leg was amputated due to osteosarcoma on May 15, 2008. He enjoyed over two and a half years of life after that, one day at a time. He died on Feb. 21, 2011.
