I should probably clarify about the paintings...we're NOT looking to "sell" anything. He wants to do this free of charge for our 3 legged warriors. The only time he would ask for compensation would be if someone wants a specific or expensive sized canvas that he doesn't have. He also does some in charcoal and/or oil pastels, but I'd honestly be petrified to ship those!
Aww thank you for sharing those pawesome photos and making us smile this morning.
Trust me, you're not the first person who has said they've felt a deeper impact from the loss of a beloved animal than the loss of a human relative. It's just that with animals, their love is so unconditional. Losing that kind of relationship hits hard, it's the only one humans ever have with no strings attached, no anger, no hurt, no guilt, etc. Nothing is more pure, who can blame you for being so sad. We get it.
Your husband is quite generous, that is a very kind offer! If you'd like to start a separate topic in "Anything Goes" that would probably get a lot of attention.

I just want to add that I'm so happy Grady found you a new pal and that that relationship is off to a great start! It's heartwarming! Plus, who doesn't like some good puppy photos?
Run free, Grady. We miss you!

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
