Time goes so fast, and so slow, when we remember how long it's been since our fur kids went to the Rainbow Bridge.
Today is Brownie's angelversary, and I find it so hard to believe that three years have gone by since Nancy set his spirit free. In so many ways it feels like yesterday, and in other ways it's like he is still here physically, because his spirit is so strong in our hearts. Every Tripawd who has ever shared their journey here leaves pawprints on our hearts, all are so special and unique.
Brownie's angelversary today is bittersweet for sure. We miss that big ol' guy! But today, I just read the post his mama wrote to commemorate it, "HI IT’S ME BROWNIE!" and it is so, so sweet! I cried and I smiled, and will never forget it.
I hope as many people as possible get a chance to read it. Even if you weren't part of the Tripawds community when some of the dogs she mentions in the post were with us, I guarantee you will still be so touched, and comforted, by Nancy's beautiful vision of life at the Bridge. Read it if you get a chance 🙂
Yes Kerry, it was one of the most beautiful visions of the Bridfe we could ever hope to be true. And ot has tp be true because Brow ie wrote it! He's witnessed all of this first hand!
It definitely brings comfort to anyone who has had their dogs pr cats run free to the Rainbow Bridge
I was too toiched emotionally (in a good way) to respond yet. I was getting g Ray to and then I saw your post with thos ..lovely video tribute to Beloved Brownie.....yeah, a big pile of mish all over again..
We are so privileged to k ow Brownie and so grateful thst he brought Nancy to us. Her devotion to this community and invaluable help to others along the way is sich a treasure for all of us.

Aww Jenny thank you for honoring her memory here. It's so hard, that first angelversary. I'm glad you are able to smile when her photos come up. She was indeed a special girl! I was looking back at your old posts with her, and came across this awesome image. It must have been such a great road trip with her!
Wow, today is the day. Sixteen years have passed since Jerry joined his friends at the Rainbow Bridge!
Check out today's Tripawds News.
Hey guys. Surprised I hadn't seen it before, but I noticed this topic recently and decided I should post on Wally's angelversary which was yesterday. As usual I managed to make myself busy enough on his anniversary to not think about it too much, so here I am today.
I can't believe it's been 4 years since he gained his wings and crossed the rainbow bridge, and man do I still miss him. Not that I don't love my Mongo, but he's certainly no Saint Wallace lol.
Anyway, I had better keep it short so I don't end up writing all night about by best best friend ever. Thanks again for all of the support you guys gave me when Wally passed and with Mongo as well.

Four years? Wow. That is just unreal, I can't believe it either!
That is so cute you call him Saint Wallace. We always say that about Saint Jerry! Poor Wyatt Ray
had to live in his shadow for so many years.
You can write as much as you want about your best friend. It's always a joy to share the memories with you.
Oops pic isn't showing, weird!
Hi Rene. Yeah, so hard to believe that it's been 4 year. And yeah, Wally was definitely a Saint (hence the name). Just so mild mannered, easy to take care of, and loving. Just the best dog ever! And I hear you about Wyatt Ray . Poor Mongo has the same thing going.
For some reason the site isn't letting me post pics. It'll let me copy the photo over and puts it in the post, but when I hit submit post it gives that error. I tried a test post on my Mongo thread, and it did the same thing
Awww well if we are lucky we are all blessed with that dog who is easy peasy and not challenging at all. We totally feel like Wyatt brought Nellie to us because he was such a hard case!
Sorry about the photos. I'll mention it to Admin Guy. But fear not, we are migrating to a new Forums platform shortly which makes images easssssssy peasy! Stay tuned.
Awww.....we all fell in love with Wally too! The love you two shared, the care you gave him will always stand out to us. As you know, the heartache never goes away....it fades but never disappears. Of course, Wally sent you Mongo to keep you on your toes and to help put some happiness back into your heart♥️

Thanks Renee and Sally! Yeah, I definitely got super lucky with Wally. Not sure if I ever told you guys, but I almost didn't end up with Wally and would have adopted a different Boxer. Which I'm sure would have worked out ok, but I'm obviously extremely grateful to have been able to adopt Saint Wallace. Not that I don't love my Mongo, but hopefully I end up w/ much more chill and easy one the next go around.
And here's the photo I was trying to post. Hopefully it works this time.
