Our wonderful big, loving Cooper lost his battle with his cancer last Friday. Thank you to all who posted and followed my blog. Everyone has been so kind and understanding. This website has been invaluable to us since Coop was diagnosed last May. Thank you just isn't enough. We miss Coop so much, but cherish the short 6 years we had with him.
six years isn't nearly enough. we're sorry for your loss. love never ends.

Love Never Ends
Cooper, we are so sad to hear this news, you were far too young to leave us. Our hearts ache for you and your family.
Run free sweet Cooper, you will be missed.

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
I'm so sorry to hear that Cooper gained his wings, but imagine how beautiful he is with them.
He is running pain free now and being greeted by all the other Tripawd angels that got there before him.
He will always be with you in your heart,
Jackie, Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Think of how wonderful it will be the day he runs to greet you, all 4 legs a blur of energy! Run fast and free, Cooper.

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.
Dakota's thoughtful and erudite blog is at http://shari.tr.....pawds.com/
We are so sorry. Give an extra ear rub to Bella.
Bob,Julie, Samson and Lady
Spirit Samson was Spirit Tripawd Daisys four legged "brother" and ruled as the self proclaimed head of the Monkeybutt Federations East Coast Division. Lady Chunky Monkey stayed from Oct 2011 and left for the bridge in Apr 2012. Miss Perdy is left and has some big pawprints to fill.

Sending you hugs and sloppy kisses from our fur family to yours at this time.
-Chloe's mom
Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
My deepest condolences for your loss of Cooper. I know life is supposed to be about quality and not quantity, but I can only imagine the heartbreak in losing him so young.
We are here if you need a shoulder to cry on in the upcoming sad days.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
6 years is not enough. I'm so sorry for your loss. Run free and out of pain, Coop, and when you see my Chili Dawg, give him a hug from me.
Jenna
Diagnosed with OSA: 5/2/2011 Ampuversary: 5/11/2011 OSA returned in hip: 8/26/2011
Chili Dawg crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 8/30/2011 & is now pain free. He was my heart dog, and I miss him every day.
What a beautiful boy Cooper was ... I am so sorry he had to leave you so soon. Six years is just not enough time, but what would have been enough?
I know how your heart must be aching — we lost our Sammy a week ago tomorrow. I hope that every day brings you a little less pain, a little more happiness and lots of loving memories.
It helps me to picture a pack of grinning, happy Tripawd angels playing on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge — gleaming in the sun and running pain-free on four healthy legs. This horrible disease robs our furkids of their physical freedom; I can still see Sammy's wistful expression as he watched his brother trot outside to chase their terrible enemies, the squirrels. Although they never had a prayer of catching them, the love of the chase was in their blood. Now he can chase them (and his favorite orange ball) to his heart's content.
Maybe as two of the newest angels, Sammy and Cooper will friends ...

Smilin' Sammy, March 16, 2004 – Dec. 5, 2011
Golden retriever, diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2010 — right front leg amputated November 2010. He fought valiantly to stay with us; but a second diagnosis of osteosarcoma, this time in his left front leg, was more than our golden warrior could overcome. He loved his pack — and everyone else he met.
We loved him even more.
Thanks for the pennies, Sammy. They helped.
I'm so so sorry for your loss. This is never easy or fair. What a beautiful boy. One of the things that I always found comforting when I lost my golden Mackenzie at what I thought was a young age (8), is that those years I had with her were quality years. I have to remind myself that I wasn't shortchanged, in fact, I was the luckiest person in the world to have been with the most wonderful dog in the world even for the short 8 years she was with us. It sounds like you were that lucky too.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Kami, Angel Mackenzie, Kobe and Scarlett
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
