Hi, I’m back. I don’t have a mantra. I’ve been struggling to come up with something that feels right - but, I did do a brainstorming exercise in an attempt to come up with one, and low and behold, it inspired me to write a poem about Louie. The words poured out of me, and I read it often. I’m not going to share it here - I want to keep it to myself. But I did want to say thank you for suggesting coming up with a mantra, because it ultimately inspired my Louie poem.

This week has been beyond emotional for me. We are moving, and it is stirring up sooooo many things: “I wish he was with us,” “This doesn’t feel right without him,” “I will never be happy again.” Grief is truly brutal, especially when grieving the most pure soul I have ever known. I hope I can find peace again, but if I do, it’s going to take me a long time to find it.

Awwww I'm so happy you found the words in your heart. Yes, keep them to yourself if that's what you are feeling, it must mean that it's his gift for you and you alone.

Moving is tough enough. It feels like leaving our loved ones behind if they have transitioned on. Grief hits us when we least expect it but at times like a big life change, it can really whallop us. I know you can roll with the punches though. You have Angel Louie on your side.

Good luck with the move, let us know how it goes when you are ready.

The words poured out of me.....

But all this jn the FWIW column, okay?  But what you've experienced  is a sign of an enlightened  Soul.  A Soul constantly  growing and expanding.   When it happens like thar, when the thoughts flow so easily,  unfiltered, unedited, that is when you aee truly connected to your "higher self.".  Call that whatever resonates  with you....higher power, enlightened self, divinely guided....OR.....the connection to Louie's Spirit where he still  "speaks" to you as one enlightened  Soul to another.

For now, recognize  that the feeling of "peace" you are seeking may already be showing  up in a different  way than you are used to.  It may be just brief moments of enjoying the song of a bird, or the first sign of a Spring flower blooming......just little things that give you a moment of calm.  Anyway, just be aware that those moments are around you alowly but surely.  You may have to redefine  what peace means to you for now, but it's within you.

Thank you so much for checking  in. We continue  to hold you in our hearts and thoughts.   And we continue  to smile because we had the .  the privilege  of knowing this very special dog named Louie💖

Hugs
