Today is Sassy's 6 month Angelversary. I made a big write up on her Blog page so if interested you can read that but I did want to post here in the forums also. Its been a fast 6 months. I can't believe it. I do miss her a lot. Although, I do know she is watching down on us its tough some days and today is one of those days. I found these 2 sayings and they fit perfect.

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

Aw, Michelle. What a lovely tribute. I couldn't make it through that poem without a tissue. Your Sassy Sugar Bear is most certainly looking over you and is forever in your heart. It truly is hard to believe it's been 6 months already. Thinking of you and sending you extra love and hugs today.
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Thinking of you Michelle. I'm sure Sassy is the Head Puppy Angel by now! It always seems to be those odd moments that the thoughts catch you unaware and maybe that's when they are thinking of us too.

Luanne & Spirit Shooter
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

Sending you big hugs today. I know how you feel...some days all the memories bring smiles and a warmth in your heart and other days they bring tears and emptiness. I hope that you're having more and more good days. Sassy is right there with you hoping the same thing. I know she is.

Lots and lots of hugs and love coming to you. This is a big milestone, it's so hard to believe that time can go so quickly when we are still mourning the loss of someone dear.
Yes, she is still with you, Sassy will never leave your side. In fact she's even busier now that she has Snickers and Jasmine to watch over and help along through life!
I haven't had a chance to watch your video yet but can't wait to do that today. I know you put a lot of love into it.

What a beautiful way to honor your beautiful dog! I made it to the first puppy picture on the video before the tears started flowing and cried the whole way through. I'm new here and didn't get to know sassy but bc of your video I feel like I have now. Thanks for posting that! Hugs to you!!!!!
