He is sooooo gorgeous! I love watching him.
Be sure to put traction down on those floors OK? That will help him so much when he adjusts to three legs.
Yes, Wyatt's stump is just muscle (that's loose and floppy now since there's no activity to bulk it up). The bone does not go to the tip.

Thanks!
Yes I will buy carpet to put on that slippery floor, we are renovating and that laminate floor is very slippery, but the old wood floor are ok and in the basement(living room) the floor is not finished yet so seem ok.
On my to do list, carpet, fit paws, boots, higher feeding bowl, the harness is suppose to arrive soon.
On next wednesday, I will do another blood test(complete one was done last month) just to make sure he's ok to go in surgery and place the fentanyl patch for the D day on thursday! Finally, I will be assisting the surgery. Im really ok with it now, I feel anxious to get it finally done, can't wait! I will try to take pictures and maybe videos, so if any of you are interested on seeing those, tell me. I will also take pictures of the knee itself once I open it. I know, I know, its weird, but for me, its normal, Im a scientific soul, I need to see, touch, proof. I love medecine, so...
You are definitely taking all the right steps! And with your scientific mind, Novak is one very lucky doggie. Of course we are interested in following along, so don't be shy!

He's such a great model!
I'm surprised he's a medium, he looks so much bigger. Have you tried adjusting the chest straps in the front? The three-point triangle where they meet has buckles that allow you to slide straps to lengthen or tighten, and you may be able to scoot the harness back a bit by doing so.

I think that the harness looks like it could slide back just a bit. The three neck straps were the ones you adjusted?
Some dogs have long bodies, so even with adjusting that might be the way it sits on him. He's definitely got the right size.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
I think all Novacks hair at his neck makes it look like it's sitting higher than it really is. Looks perfect and I think you'll love the harness. We found it helped us a lot. Mighty fine looking model Novack makes! Will be holding you in our hearts and sending pawsitive healing thoughts for you both on surgery day.
Hugs,
