Hey everyone its been a long time!! i hope your all doing well i think good thoughts for your pups everyday!!!

So Alpha really needs his teeth cleaned they arent horrible but there is definitely some tarter build up. He's only 4 so like i said its not horrible but he clenches his jaw when i try to brush them so i cant reach the inside of his teeth. Me and my husband are really worried about putting him under again, i feel like its cruel and unnecessary stress for my little man!! What are your thoughts???

we are going to have to have his teeth cleaned eventually but hes only 8 months post opt so maybe we should wait?!?!

Any words of wisdom??

Thanks

Love You All!!

Alpha & Suzy

As long as your vet is doing it and using modern anesthesia techniques (we talk about that here: http://tripawds.....n-surgery/)

I would ask your vet what s/he thinks, it's probably OK to wait a bit longer if you want to.

Well 'bout time we heard from you two!! Sounds like things are going well and that's great!!

Okay, I'm gonna be the "lone wolf" here and say wait. Anything elective like thisI would def itely wait...for quite awhile Of course I'm not a vet. And yes, certain issues can arise especialy in older dogs who may need teeth cleaning more then

And I'm not saying this to scareyou and the circumstances were different, but one of our beloved family members---Shooter---had to have a tooth pulled and, sady did not recover. Not sure of the details, but the "minor" surgery is what triggered everything.

Sendngnyou hugs!

Thx you guys!! i agree i think we should wait I'll just have to get my little fingers in the hard to reach areas a little better!!! those "minor" surgeries can effect people too! anesthesia is a scary thing!! Alpha is great hopping along, we had hoped to get him to the park today to get some energy out but its crummy and buggy out :( so hopefully tomoro ...how are you guys??

I'm loving tis!! I could look at these pups all day!

Goodness, Alha has grown! His furis beautiful!

I love the close up of him with the blue "scarf aro d his head...his expression is priceless!!

I've forgotten the little guy's name.....perhaps it's "Cutie Pie"!! He's a perfect Miniature Reindeer! Precious! And, of course, Alpha is a perfect lead Reindeer!

Isn't it fun seeing your pups' pics? Is such a life affirming thing!!

These two are very lucy to have you as their human partners! Whole lotta' love foing on!!

You keep these pics coming...we never tire of them...especially when you jave such cute models!!

Hugs to all!
