So, Quixote after EVERYTHING hes been thru in his short 3 years is still my special dog.  Yesterday as I was rubbing his belly I saw a black spot he didnt have before. So I picked it, it was a half inch long "stick" so I took and cleaned to wound ect, and then my husband discovered that the "stick" was actually METAL. It was embedded in his left front leg, up near his body.  We arent sure HOW it got there or when for that matter but its rusted and icky.  The vet wanted to put him on antibiotics but with the recent diagnosis of Bowens, the leaky gut ect I declined unless he shows signs of infection.

Seriously.  I love him so much but he just is a medical nightmare. I think I am going to invent a plastic doggy ball... like a hamster ball but big enough for dogs, or a rubber suit? or or or ummm make him a strictly indoor dog.  Oh he would find away to injure himself even as a strictly indoor dog. hmmmmm

QUIXOTE!! You are SPECIAL alright!! I think even if your mkm dressed you up in a rubber suit you would chew yoir way out...and probably swallow some of the rubber...and end up in the ER one way or another!

One thing for sure, you are a very loved boy!! Aboy who is full.of mischief and keeps his humans on their toes!

No more sticking metal in your quite little doggy body! What the heck were you thinking? Geez!!

Kissing your boo boo and sending love!

Now that's just plain bizarre right there! Bless your heart!

Harmony became a Tripawd on 10/21/14 (MCT). She left us way too soon on 11/1/14.
