We have noticed that on Rocky's remaining leg right over the ankle joint he has a lump... it doesn't cause him any pain. Could this be the result of him using the leg so much?  I am also wondering if he quite possibly broke his leg back when he was hit by the car.

I think a visit to our vet is in his very near future....

What do you guys think? Here is some pictures and a video of him.....

Hmmm, that could certainly be a fracture that didn't heal but then again maybe that's just puppy bone structure? It's been so long since I've been around one that age. I'm not a vet, but I would have yours look at it next time you're there. That's super smart of you to ask about it though, good job!

He's just adorable, I love how hoppy he looks!

Kaylas leg looks somewhat like this too. Her joint is quite bumpy and seems bigger than it should be. Its so hard when you havent got the other leg to compare it to isnt it? 🙂

I don't have any advice on the bump, other than what you have already suggested:  a trip to the vet.  I just wanted to say that Rocky is a very lucky little man to have found the two of you!  He looks so happy!!  Bless you both!!!

Thank you everyone for your info. I am going to have our vet take a look at it when we take Rocky in to get neutered. (The end of the month) I have a funny feeling that he had a fracture in that leg as well. Considering the seriousness of his injuries.

Since it seems to not bother him right now, I am just going to keep a close eye on it.

neutered eh?  Rocky's going to think he's losing something every time he goes to the vet!winker  Tell him Baby will still love him and thinks he's cute.

Sending pawsative thoughts that the bump is just old news.
