Well turns out holly did need her shoulder amputated too. She is spending the weekend in the vet school to help manage her pain. To top it all off tho my older German Shepherd (Hollys dad) had to be put to sleep today 😪 He had a bad case of bloat and unfortunately didn't pull through his surgery 😪

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Words fail me.  I'm sitting here and wishing I could somehow reach out and give you a hug.  I'm so so sorry for your loss of Hollys dad.  My heart so hurts for you!  I'm sure you haven't even begun to wrap your mind around all that has happened.  When you need us we will be here for you if you want to reach out and tell us about your beautiful boy.  Keeping your Holly in my prayers for now is all I can do to help right now.  If you can keep us posted, but I know how shattered you must be at this point in time.  Know this entire Tripawd nation has enveloped you in love and support.

Love & many hugs ((()))
