I just have to brag on my big girlie since these past 3-4 weeks have been pretty rough with her mobility. I have six steps that lead up to the biggest area of my backyard (it's held back by a retaining wall). That is where Daisy really likes hanging out when she is outside but she has not been up there nor shown any interest in going up there since she blew out her knee back in May.
She was hanging outside and I went to check on her and LO and BEHOLD she was milling around up there! I couldn't believe she just popped up there on her own. YAY for good pain meds LOL! The Deramaxx and Tramadol cocktail seems to be working.

Good for you, Daisy! Now do you want to come and show Murphy hos it's done? He is the same way. No interest in going upstairs on his own. Great milestone. Keep it up.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
