Word of caution Mr Barkley, NO OVERDOING IT!! Sounds like it's very hard to have you take it slowly though. We don't wa t any strained or sore muscles and joints poppi g up, okay?

it's amazing what our guys can adapt. It's very likely that Barkley did have a lot more pain than you realized. Dogs don't show pain in the same way humans do and very young dogs learn to adapt to the pain. When Cora had her second amputation, to remove her stump, she became a much happier and well adjusted dog. It became very clear to me that she'd been in pain with it and having the stump gone was a relief. Good luck on having Barkley rest and hoping for a great recovery.
