Hi there,

Alfredo is coming up on two years post-amputation.  He's always had a nervous stomach and vomits somewhat frequently.  I had him on Blue Wilderness Basics, but he decided he hated it and barely ate and got VERY thin, so I switched him to some kitten food (for now, but we'll see--he's putting weight back on).

Long story short, he started doing this heaving thing as if he was throwing up, but he never throws up.  I'm worried something is wrong with his respiratory system, sometimes his meowing sounds odd and he snores a little more while sleeping???  It's just odd.  Of course Google makes me think he's got some lung issues or blockage or whatever.  A friend of mine said she thought it sounded like a reverse sneeze.

I have some time coming up and will probably take him to the vet, but wanted to get some feedback here first.  Unfortunately we put the poor guy through a LOT with amputation and chemo, so I'm constantly paranoid about a NEW serious issue because I don't know that we could put him through any future serious procedures.
