ETA: He is over a month post amputation.

Jaxon has been licking at his amp site a lot this past week. I took him to the vet today and he thought it was phantom itching. He said everything looked good/healing well. Then tonight, I noticed drops of liquid in the surrounding area. I dabbed them up and it was a light pink. About a half hour later the amp site was damp with a light pink . I'm calling the vet in the morning, but any ideas? I'm wondering if I need a new vet.

It sounds like a seroma .  It is a little late for this but sometimes deeper sutures can cause a reaction and cause fluid leakage.  He should probably be on an antibiotic.
