Can I still give Marshall artemisinin even though he's on prednisone?

Yes, they can be given together.  Prednisone can sometimes elevate liver enzymes and artemisinin is metabolized through the liver so if the prednisone is a long-term thing then you might consider having his liver enzymes checked.  I gave artemisinin to Tazzie even though she had a chronic liver problem and it never caused her any problems.  I think it is pretty safe.
