so Jill's tummy has been making these weird noises, kinda like when your stomach growls and then also belching, not like letting out a burp, but more like when you have acid reflux (if that makes any sense)?  Now, I notice this is only happening when she is excessively licking my hand (she does this at night when she comes to bed) so I am sort of certain she may be getting air into her tummy?...however, this is a habit (the licking) she has been doing for 7 years now and this tummy noise/belching is something new.

Am I being paranoid or is there cause for concern....I have all scary sorts of thoughts going through my head like a met to her belly......

Sometimes medications can upset her stomach.  Is she still taking anything?  Cats can have a sensitive GI tract so acid reflux is possible.  Ask your vet about using pepcid for this.

It is very unlikely to be a stomach met!

No more medication. She's been off all medication for two weeks now  ive also noticed its only. Happening when she's purring really fast and heavy

It does seem odd.  If she is eating and not vomiting then I would not worry.  Pepcid is most helpful for cats experiencing nausea.
