I think you could spend your money better on different treatments. If Adequan is not helping and you are giving it that often then you need to consider other options. Ask your vet about gabapentin and CBD oil. I would also consider an NSAID and Galliprant is a newer one with less side effects. Having said that many dogs do well on the older drugs such as Rimadyl or Deramaxx or Metacam and as long as you check bloodwork every so often these drugs can safely give dogs a large amount of pain relief very quickly.

Once the vial of Adequan is punctured you are NOT supposed to use it after 28 days per the manufacturer. It is NOT guaranteed to be sterile after 28 days from the first puncture.We give our dog a injection every two weeks.
