I recently adopted a 9 month old pup who was in a car accident and had his front right leg amputated. Now after only two weeks of working with him X-rays show that he has severe inflamation in the area of his growth plate and that the area may not be growing properly. Has anyone faced this? The vet suggests confinement and anti inflamatories, but has no suggestions past that.
