Hello

I have been referred to with my question: Do you have any insight on using Cerenia long-term for cats with ckd. My cat is 16 and he had his leg amputed last December at which time the vet discovered he has ckd. I have been using Cerenia more often lately and wondered about the benefits of long-term use for this chronic condition....

You can use Cerenia daily long term if needed but often you can reduce the dose. You can also give Pepcid or Prilosec daily to renal failure cats just ask your vet first.
