If she's too quick to photograph, it sounds like she must be feeling great! Can't wait til she holds still long enough so we can see a picture of her. She does indeed sound pawesome!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Yesterday evening we just sat in the grass and she stretched out really long and then just laid there gazing out at the lake and looking like "Life is really good". Then she came in and barked rather ferociously at my husband's male nurse, who said that she looks great and she sure is sassy.
Oh, she's adorable! She will make a great Tripawd Warrior Princess!

Update on janedoe doggie. She recovered amazingly well and was running around the back yard in no time. Runds down stairs but was cautious about going up. My terrors did not adapt and we were waiting to be sure she was completely healed before finding her "forever" home.
Took her to a neutral dog park to meet daughter's family and their Australian Shepherd Sydney... that went really well so off to daughter's home with all of janedoe's stash, crate, bed, toys, food and next thing you knew she was playing ball in the back yard. She isn't doing much walking because the Grandson's are taking turns having her in their laps. She had put on 4-5 pounds and looks really good.
She is so sweet and I am so glad we were able to give her the care she needed and that she adapted immediately to her new home. I did have a waiting list "just in case". Her new name is "Jewel" because they all feel she is such a treasure.
You can sign me "Tears of joy"
Oh that is terrific! Congratulations on a pawfect dog rescue! We hope we get to hear from Jewel again and learn all about her new pack. Thanks for the update.
